Braces
Traditional braces are a tried and true method to get you that beautiful smile. For some cases, such as cases that require the removal of certain teeth, Dr. Ranaweera will only offer braces because she finds that they are more efficient at closing spaces. Some surgical cases will require that you switch to braces (if you started with Invisalign) shortly before your surgery. First, find out about DIBS AI. Dr. Ranaweera uses this system for all our braces patients. Then keep reading to find out about our braces options.

DIBS AI
With this system, Dr. Ranaweera can harness the power of artificial intelligence in programming the precise spot on each tooth where each brace is placed. This means that your braces can go on faster at your bonding appointment (aka its more comfortable), and your teeth will move efficiently requiring less uncomfortable bends in the wire towards the end of treatment.
Nothing but the best for you.

01
Metal braces (silver)
Our metal braces are small and discreet. You can pick a rainbow of colour options to express yourself, or stick with silver ties to keep them out of the spotlight!
02
Metal braces (champagne gold)
Our champagne gold braces have a more subtle and warm appearance compared to traditional metal braces, making them popular among patients seeking a less noticeable treatment option. The unique champagne hue also complements the natural color of teeth while maintaining the strength and efficiency of metal brackets. Iconix braces provide effective results while offering a stylish alternative for those looking for a more refined look during their orthodontic journey.

03
Ceramic braces
Ceramic braces are more aesthetic and are usually the pick for our adult braces patients. Colour ties pop more on these braces, but they won't stain with food and beverages. We use ceramic braces in the upper teeth and metal braces on the lower teeth to ensure aesthetics and efficiency.
